Fees and Estimates
We are upfront about our fees and estimates. Below are the
basics. Contact Us if you have further questions.
- RETAINERS: With the exception of cases done for
government agencies, all work performed by our lab is done by retainer
(funds collected at the beginning of the case from which to work).
If there is a balance due upon completion of the case, that amount will be
collected before finished work is sent. Checks and all major credit cards are accepted.
- DIAGNOSTIC FEE: Potential clients sometimes ask to
send us audio or video recordings or images to determine what
enhancement/clarification is possible. Since the only thing we have to sell is
our time, it is necessary to charge for this service. Our diagnostic fee is 1
hour ($195.).
- ESTIMATES: Though we do our best to attempt to
calculate how many hours will be necessary when a project is described to us
by phone, please keep in mind that estimates provided sight unseen are not set
in cement and are only estimates.
- TIME & CHARGES: Charges for all time spent on cases
apply, including phone calls.
- RUSH FEE: There is a 20% additional charge for rush
cases.
NOTE: Our service/engagement agreement and retainer
arrangements are governed by the laws of the State of California. Fees quoted
and funds received are considered retainers and are, therefore, non-refundable.
